I absolutely love this DKNY pleated colour block maxi dress on Olivia Palermo. Olivia attended the DKNY Sunglass Soiree in New York City and must have stunned the crowd with her great execution of styling as the dress and accessories are fabulous! She achieves two very current trends for this summer, channelling both colour blocking and pleats and wears it better than the runway look!

Lucky for us high street stores are full of these trends so, it wont be difficult to emulate this look!

My Favourite Fashion Find

So I absolutely adore this Navy Polka Dot Crochet Collar Swing Top (£34) from Topshop! The preppy collar is definitely back with a cute ribbon tie the high street shop all have them, but this is definitely the cutest- It’s also very Blair Waldorf! So I have these mustard shorts and I think this top would go really well with them! This will definitely be entering my wardrobe very soon!

My Forever Favourite - Forever 21

Ever since I discovered Forever 21 back in 2009 in Florida, I fell in love with the store! Little was I to know that when I visited New York City and stayed at the W hotel, I was only seconds away from the Forever 21 megastore in Times Square; I fell in love all over again but harder. I practically bought an entire new wardrobe and had spent hours in the store.

And after years of hoping Forever 21 will bless London with a store, the time has finally arrived and Forever 21 will open its doors to Londoners in Oxford Street on the July 27^th 2011. The launch party was just last night and from what I have heard it was amazing! It seems that Forever 21 understands very well what us young ladies want so expect the best trends at the best prices possible!

Graduation Fashion

Okay so staying in theme of my blog title and something very relevant to my life right now I thought I should share my all important graduation dress as I am to Graduate this Tuesday!

So what is one to wear? My gown colours are black and brown and I have an obsession with matching things- well at least not clashing things! So I thought cream is an appropriate colour....and after searching everywhere and going on numerous shopping sprees I just settled for something I had already (but not worn) so it this polka dot river island dress. Black and cream with gold buttons and I think it can look very academic and appropriate for the occasion.

So as I already had this dress I lacked serious excitement for the occasion so I thought I should now focus on the hosiery and shoes! As usual Asos.com is was my saviour! So I went for these tights with vintage style seam detail with a cute bow on the ankle. Cute right? So with this I didn't want busy shoes, I wanted to keep it simple so I went for these shoe boots! Love them! They are smart and glamorous and to compliment my outfit well as I had to keep in mind that when I have a huge gown covering my dress my legs and shoes need to shout fashion!
